the name of this bar, in an historic expressionist berlin building by erich mendelsohn, gave rise to a design theme which revolves around the first moon landing. yet, the ambience is most definitely more like “james bond lost in space”. its popularity amongst guests and the fact that it was voted world’s best bar by both wallpaper* and interior design magazine are clear indications that plajer & franz studio got the mix just right.
